Statement of Faith
The Scriptures: We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, holy and without error in the original
writings. And that both the Old and New Testament's Scriptures are the complete and sufficient
revelation of His will for man's salvation and conduct; the supreme and final authority for faith
and life.
The Godhead: We believe in one God, Creator of all things, indefinitely
perfect and eternally existing in three persons -- Father, Son, and Holy
Spirit.
The Lord Jesus Christ: We believe Jesus Christ is God, the Living Word,
who became flesh through His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit
and His virgin birth. He led a sinless life, took upon Himself all of
our sins on the cross, died and rose again, and is seated at the right
hand of the Father as our mediator and advocate.
The Holy Spirit: We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to
reveal and glorify Christ and to apply the saving work of Jesus Christ
to mankind. That the Holy Spirit indwells each born again believer to
regenerate, convict, teach, seal, equip, and to empower us to live an
obedient life, according to the will of our Heavenly Father.
Man: We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into
sin and is, therefore, lost, and only through regeneration of the Holy
Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.
Salvation: We believe that salvation, is by grace, a free gift of God
apart from works; through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. His sacrifice
on the cross and His resurrection provide the only ground for
justification and salvation for all who believe. Those who believe,
receive Jesus and are born of the Holy Spirit, thus becoming children of
God with eternal life.
The Church: We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ
and that the Church, the Body of Christ, is God's institution, of which
He is the Head.
Christ's Return: We believe in the personal and imminent coming of our
Lord Jesus Christ and that this "Blessed Hope" has a vital bearing on
the personal life and service of the believer.
